OCEAN TECH 400V Electric Outboard (40–100HP)
Cleaner power, a brighter ocean
Overview
The OCEAN TECH 400V electric outboard family covers 40HP, 60HP, 80HP and 100HP classes. Built on a 400V high-voltage platform with a high-efficiency electric drive, it delivers clean, quiet and efficient propulsion for small and mid-size pleasure craft, fishing boats and light workboats.
Power is rated as continuous mechanical output at the propeller shaft — not electrical input power. Closed-loop liquid cooling with external water heat exchange and IP67 sealing on the electrical cavity, controller and HV distribution box ensure reliable marine service, with CAN and an optional NMEA2000 gateway for full vessel integration.
Key Functions
400V high-voltage platform
320–470 V DC operating range, high-efficiency drive and stable continuous output for 40–100 kWh marine LFP battery packs.
True mechanical power
40 / 60 / 80 / 100HP as continuous shaft output (approx. 29.8 / 44.7 / 59.7 / 74.6 kW) — not fuel-equivalent horsepower.
Silent and emission-free
Low-noise operation with zero exhaust, markedly improving onboard comfort versus petrol outboards.
Closed-loop liquid cooling
Closed-loop liquid cooling with external water heat exchange sustains reliable operation under long high-load duty.
Smart connectivity
7-inch display standard (10-inch optional), CAN bus, with optional NMEA2000 gateway and 4G remote monitoring.
Marine-grade protection
IP67 on electrical cavity, controller and HV distribution box; insulation monitoring, HV interlock, pre-charge, over-current and temperature protection.
